Application Process & Deadlines
The facility administrator should nominate the outstanding MA-C(s) you want to participate in the Program. Nomination forms will be available September 1. Deadline for nominations is September 30. The administrator should communicate with the nominee that they should expect an application packet to be mailed to the address provided in the nomination. Nominees should schedule an ACCUPLACER test if they do not have a score above 237.
Application packet is mailed to address provided in nomination form on October 1. Applicant completes application packet; it must be received by AHCA School of Nursing before November 1.
Participation offers are sent out on November 15 or the next business day if that date falls on the weekend.
Acceptance or declination of program positions must be received by December 1 or the next business day if that date falls on the weekend.
Students accepted to the Program or who are waitlisted will have a mandatory orientation in December, date to be included in the offer letters.
All applicants must select one of the following class locations for the Practical Nurse Program: Jonesboro, Little Rock, or Rogers. Nursing classes will only be held in these locations.
If you are unable to attend in person at one of these sites, please do not apply, as attendance at one of these designated locations is mandatory for program participation.
